The Arca 3 Low Profile is a bottom rail for the FX Impact that is Arca Swiss from end to end, without a Picatinny section on the front. If your bipod, tripod clamp and bag rider are already Arca, there is no reason to give up rail length to a Picatinny section you never use, and this rail was made for that setup.
It is sized for Impacts running the larger 580cc and 700cc bottles, and it also works on the Impact M4.
What makes it different from our other Impact rails
We kept this rail close to the bottle, which lowers the rifle on the bag or tripod and keeps it from feeling top-heavy. Measured from the start of the trigger guard to the end of the rail it is 15.75 inches long and 2.75 inches wide, so you have a long Arca surface to slide your bipod or tripod clamp forward and back until the balance is where you want it.
There are M-LOK slots on the bottom and on both sides for a light, a barricade stop or rail weights, and QD sling sockets on both sides so you can run a sling from either side. Your bipod or tripod clamp locks onto a stiff machined surface, which helps the rifle settle the same way on every shot and keeps your groups consistent. Installing and setting it up
The rail replaces the factory bottom rail under the bottle. Snug the screws evenly and check that the rail sits parallel to the bottle before you tighten them fully. If you need a Picatinny spot for an older bipod, you can add one anywhere along the Arca surface with our Arca to Picatinny Adapter ST0066.
Common questions
Should I get the Arca 3 Low Profile or the Arca Rail 2?
The Arca Rail 2 ST0022 is an Arca rail with a Picatinny section at the end, T-slots on both sides and a 1/4-20 tripod thread. The Arca 3 Low Profile is Arca along its full length, sits closer to the bottle and uses M-LOK slots, so it is the better choice if all of your supports already use Arca clamps.
Does it fit the Impact M4?
Yes, it also works on the Impact M4.
I have a compact Impact, so is this the right rail?
This rail is designed around 580cc and 700cc bottles. For a compact Impact, look at the Arca 3 Compact ST0047, which measures 11.25 inches from the trigger guard to the end.
