This week we released a tool that customers have asked about for a long time. The Bottle Degasser and Valve Removal Kit ST0105 combines bottle degassing and valve removal in one tool for compatible carbon fiber airgun bottles. Bottle service and travel preparation are part of owning a PCP, so I also want to cover the tank bag and valve adapter that support the rest of your air supply.

The Bottle Degasser and Valve Removal Kit ST0105.
The ST0105 lets you release a bottle's air before removing the valve for maintenance or travel preparation. The steel tool body has a 3.2 mm engagement pin that fits into the valve side hole. A threaded degassing screw releases air through a central vent, and the wrench flats accept a 19 mm open end wrench for valve removal and reinstallation.
The tool is designed for valves with a side hole larger than 3.2 mm, and it is not universal. Confirm your valve dimensions before ordering. Fully depressurize the bottle before removing the valve, and follow the bottle and valve manufacturer service instructions.

The Tank Bag ST0036 fits a 9.0L tank with a maximum 23 inch circumference and 23 inch length, or 29 inches with the valve. It comes in grey with an extra inch of diameter to make larger tanks easier to remove, two large accessory pockets, a long Velcro strip for patches, MOLLE webbing and a clear ID slot. The original green bags have been retired.

The ST0037 converts tank valve threads from 7/8-14 to M18x1.5 for carbon fiber gun tanks. It is 7075 aluminum in black anodize, with female 7/8-14 threads that accept valves with 0.75 inches of thread or less.

If filling your Impact is awkward, our fill upgrades Field Notes covers the Extended Dust Cap ST0019 and Extended Foster QD ST0010.
It degasses a compatible carbon fiber airgun bottle and removes its valve with the same tool.
It requires a valve side hole larger than 3.2 mm and is not universal. Confirm dimensions before ordering.
A 19 mm open end wrench, not included.
A 9.0L tank up to 23 inches in circumference and 23 inches long, or 29 inches with the valve.
7/8-14 tank valve threads to M18x1.5.
Air supply care is easy to overlook until something needs service. With the right tool, a good bag and the correct adapter, your bottles and tanks are ready for maintenance, travel and the next session.
